Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter will be launched in Nagpur in September

Bajaj Auto Limited has launched an advertising campaign to launch Bajaj Chetak electric scooter in Nagpur and is accepting registration.

Bajaj Auto Limited has started the promotion of Bajaj Chetak electric scooters in Nagpur and is accepting applications for participation.

Bajaj Chetak electric scooters are expected to be shipped in September. Residents of Nagpur can now pre-register Chetak electric scooters by visiting the website, and reservations are expected to open in the near future.

This electric scooter was launched in India in 2020 and sold out in many cities, leading to the closure of bookings. However, Bajaj Chetak is now available in six Indian cities, namely Nagpur, Aurangabad, Pune, Mysore, Mangalore, and Bangalore.

Bajaj also plans to promote Chetak electric scooters in Hyderabad and Chennai. Bajaj also reopened Chetak’s reserve in early April but was forced to close two days after the electric scooter received unexpected reactions from people.


  • Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is powered by a 3kW electric motor and can provide a maximum torque of      16 Nm.
  • Its lithium-ion battery has a 3-year/50,000 km warranty and is charged in a socket.
  • 15 A, it can last about 1 hour when charged at 25%, and up to 5 hours when fully charged.
  • Bajaj Chetak electric scooter provides two modes, Eco and Sport, and can travel 95 kilometers or 85 kilometers on a single charge.

Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter Price:

When launched in 2020, two scooter options (city version and premium version) are provided, priced at 100,000 rupees and rupees respectively. 1.15 lakh rupees. The company set the price of its Chetak electric scooter at around 27,000 rupees in March 2021.

However, in April 2021, Bajaj revised the price of the Urban version to Rs 27,620 and the price of the premium option to Rs 24,620. This price modification makes Chetak the most expensive scooter, which is sold in India.
