It supports a DC charger up to 60 kW, which takes 50 minutes to charge the vehicle from 0 to 80%. It also supports an AC charger. With the 3.3 kW charger, it takes 13.5 hours for a full charge, but with the 7.4 kW charger, the charging time reduces to 9.5 hours.
Powertrain & Performance
The Windsor EV gets a PMS motor, which is mounted to the front axle, featuring the front-wheel drive option. The transmission is single-speed automatic. The power output is 136 bhp, and torque is 200 Nm. The 0-100 km/h acceleration timing is 9.4 seconds, and top speed goes up to 150 km/h.
Space & Dimensions
The Windsor EV comes with a seating capacity of 5 people with a layout of 2 and 3. The boot space is 604 litres, which can easily carry 5 big luggage bags. The rear seats are foldable; by folding them down, the cargo space can be expanded up to 1170 litres.
Its length, width and height are 4295 mm, 1850 mm and 1677 mm, respectively, giving it a strong road presence. The wheelbase is 2700 mm, which ensures stability at high speed, and a ground clearance of 186 mm is ideal for tackling the speed breaker and potholes.
Suspension & Brake
The Windsor EV features MacPherson struts as front suspension, which absorbs bumps from front wheels and helps in better steering control; rear suspension is a torsion beam, which provides better comfort and stability. Both front and rear brakes are disc, which provides strong and consistent braking.
It also features ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) that prevents wheels from locking during sudden braking, EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), which distributes braking force among the wheels for stable braking, and regenerative braking that turns the braking energy into battery charge.
Features & Technology
The Windsor EV features a large-screen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a nine-speaker sound system. Also, there's a digital instrument cluster that shows driving data and navigation. It features a wireless charging pad, smart keyless entry and push start for convenience.
For the comfort of passengers, the rear seats come with reclining up to 135 degrees. The front seats are ventilated to keep the driver and front-seating passenger cool in hot weather.
