Simple Energy has introduced it’ll open pre-bookings of its Simple One electric scooter at Rs 1,947 on August 15, which is likewise while it’ll be launched.

 Pre-bookings will open at the manufacturer’s authentic internet site from 5 pm onwards on that day.

The start-up company has announced that the price of this electric scooter ranges from 1.10 rupees to 1.20 rupees (outside the exhibition hall), but the final price and other details will be announced at the press conference.

The company also announced that the removable 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery weighs more than 6 kg and is designed for use in India. It also has a large top handle for easy movement.

Simple Energy said that it can use Simple Loop fast charging technology to charge the battery.

This allows the battery to be charged at a speed of 2.5 kilometers per minute. In the next few months, Simple Energy will install 300 fast-charging stations across the country.

Simple Energy revealed the details of its battery before the start of Independence Day:

Its main competitor will be the Ather 450X, but the launch of Simple Energy coincides with the launch of the Ola electric scooter, which is also very competitive in price.

Simple Energy has been committed to breaking the 200 km mark with the Simple One electric scooter, which is achieved through the continuous improvement of many components.

The engine is one of the components developed internally by the company. Today, Simple Energy is the only original equipment manufacturer in the country that designs, develops, and manufactures powertrains by itself.

This allows the company to perform the required optimizations to improve engine efficiency and the mileage of the scooter. If the gearbox is developed and manufactured by another company, customization options will be limited.

The drive system developed by Simple Energy has been patented. The company can use its experience in this field to develop new sources of income.

However, there is no plan to directly share engine design with other organizations.

Simple Energy has reached nearly 99% of sites. Except for the battery unit, all other components used in Simple One are sourced locally.

This helps reduce costs and avoid production and delivery delays. It is said that the price of the Simple One electric scooter is between 1.1 and 1.2 rupees.

The Simple One was released in the first phase of 13 states in India.
