The start-up company has announced that the price of this electric scooter ranges from 1.10 rupees to 1.20 rupees (outside the exhibition hall), but the final price and other details will be announced at the press conference.
The company also announced that the removable 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery weighs more than 6 kg and is designed for use in India. It also has a large top handle for easy movement.
Simple Energy said that it can use Simple Loop fast charging technology to charge the battery.
This allows the battery to be charged at a speed of 2.5 kilometers per minute. In the next few months, Simple Energy will install 300 fast-charging stations across the country.
Simple Energy revealed the details of its battery before the start of Independence Day:
- Simple One will be the first electric scooter of a Bangladeshi start-up company.
- The cruising range in Eco mode is 240 kilometers.
- The removable lithium-ion battery is lightweight and can be easily transported.
The company claims that the electric scooter can travel 150 miles in Eco mode, and can achieve such an amazing range at a very low driving speed. The
the battery is connected to the mid-mounted engine, which can accelerate to 050 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is 100 km/h.
The electric scooter also has ample 30 liters of storage space under the bench seat, which is 8 liters more than the Ather 450X.
Other notable features include a full LED backlight and touch screen with built-in navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
Its main competitor will be the Ather 450X, but the launch of Simple Energy coincides with the launch of the Ola electric scooter, which is also very competitive in price.

How Simple One achieve battery life of more than 200 kilometers?
Simple Energy has been committed to breaking the 200 km mark with the Simple One electric scooter, which is achieved through the continuous improvement of many components.
The engine is one of the components developed internally by the company. Today, Simple Energy is the only original equipment manufacturer in the country that designs, develops, and manufactures powertrains by itself.
This allows the company to perform the required optimizations to improve engine efficiency and the mileage of the scooter. If the gearbox is developed and manufactured by another company, customization options will be limited.
The drive system developed by Simple Energy has been patented. The company can use its experience in this field to develop new sources of income.
However, there is no plan to directly share engine design with other organizations.
In addition to the engine, Simple Energy also has patents for several other components.
This includes the construction of scooters, bicycle parts, thermal management, and batteries.
The integration of technology also helps to improve the overall efficiency of the powertrain. A lot of research has been done to develop an aerodynamic scooter design that will reduce drag and help increase range.
Another example of continuous improvement is the reduction in the weight of the scooter from 130 kg to 110 kg.
The electrical system including the headlights has also been improved to reduce the consumption of auxiliary energy.
Acceleration and speed of Simple One electric scooter:
Even in economy mode, Simple One can reach a speed of about 45-50 km/h, which is quite good for urban driving conditions.
You can use the other three riding modes to increase speed. The top speed will be around 100 km/h, and Simple One can also provide the best acceleration in its class to 0-40 km/h in 3.1 seconds.
This is better than the Ather 450X, which accelerates to 0-40 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Simple One accelerates to 0-60 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
Almost complete Localization:
Simple Energy has reached nearly 99% of sites. Except for the battery unit, all other components used in Simple One are sourced locally.
This helps reduce costs and avoid production and delivery delays. It is said that the price of the Simple One electric scooter is between 1.1 and 1.2 rupees.
The Simple One was released in the first phase of 13 states in India.
99% of the components are from India:
When Simple Energy started operations, it set itself a target of about 85% of the parts, because it was believed that certain parts would be more dependent on imports.
However, with the acceleration of development and the addition of investors, it can achieve almost complete localization.
In Simple One electric scooter, all components except the battery come from India.
