The facelift of Punch EV was revealed on February 8, 2026, and then its launch happened on February 20, 2026. In the Indian market, it is available in six variants with two battery configurations. The ex-showroom price for each variant is listed below:
- Smart 30 kWh: ₹9.69 lakh
- Smart+ 30 kWh: ₹10.29 lakh
- Smart+ 40 kWh: ₹10.89 lakh
- Adventure 40 kWh: ₹11.59 lakh
- Empowered 40 kWh: ₹12.29 lakh
- Empowered+ S 40 kWh: ₹12.59 lakh
The on-road price across the country is slightly different from one another in each city. In New Delhi, the standard one is available for ₹10 lakh and the top-end for ₹13 lakh.
Gives A Range Up To 468 KM
The facelift of the Punch EV from Tata Motors gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is mounted with the front axle. The drivetrain is front-wheel drive, and the transmission is single-speed automatic. The offered LPF battery packs are 30 kWh and 40 kWh; refer to listed points for specification.
30 kWh:

The real-world range for a 30 kWh battery pack is 260-275 km, and the same for 40 kWh is 325-350 km.
Supports Up To 65 kW DC Charger
The facelift of the Punch EV supports up to a 65 KW DC charger, with the maximum power it can charge the vehicle from 20-80% in 26 minutes with a 30 kWh battery pack and in 30 minutes if equipped with a 40 kWh battery.
It comes with a standard 3.3 kWh AC charger that can charge the vehicle with a 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery pack in 11.9 hours and 14-15 hours, respectively; but the option of 7.2 kWh can be opted for, which takes 4.5 hours for a 30 kWh battery pack and 5-5.5 hours for a 40 kWh battery pack for a full charge.
Features 366 Litres of Boot Space
The Tata Punch EV Facelift comes with a seating capacity of 5 people with a seating layout of 2-3. It features a boot space of 366 litres, which can easily carry five big pieces of luggage. The dimensions are:

The L×W×H measurements make it a compact SUV with ample legroom, headroom, and shoulder room and seats comfortably inside the cabin. Its wheelbase is quite long in the segment, providing better stability at high speed, and ground clearance is quite high to tackle potholes and speed breakers.
Gets a Dual 10.25-Inch Touchscreen
For infotainment and connectivity, the Punch EV comes with two 10.25-inch touchscreens. One acts as a digital instrument cluster and the other as an infotainment system. It gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 4-speaker with tweeter sound system. Multiple voice assistants are enabled, which includes Alexa, Siri, Google and Tata.
To make the phone charging conventional, it gets a wireless charging pad and USB Type-C fast charging ports. The top-end variant gets ventilated front seats, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, an air purifier, a cooled glovebox and an auto-dimming IRVM. To ensure the safety of occupants, it features six airbags, ESC, TPMS, a 360-degree camera and others.
Runs on 16-Inch Diamond-Cut Wheels
The facelift of Punch EV gets a closed-off grill that is integrated with front charging ports. It gets sleeker LED DRLs and projector headlamp setups as modern lighting; a textured silver skid plate with a modern bumper gives it a distinct styling and bold look.
On the sides, it gets a boxy sport utility vehicle stance and runs on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that further improve its efficiency. Its thick body cladding gives it a tough look; roof rails and a floating roof design make its side appearance quite eye-catching.
The rear gets connected LED tail lamps, a modern bumper with a skid plate, and Punch.ev badging. It is available in seven colour options, which are Fearless Yellow, Bengal Rouge, Caramel, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Empowered Oxide and Supernova Copper.
